Flower with a faint fragrance, to 4 inches (11 cm) across. Petals in two subequal whorls, obovate, obtuse to truncate, ruffled, deep, purplish-pink with darker midrib and rather indistinct reddish basal stripe. Throat-circle and stigma white. Filaments light pink. Stem globular.
