Copiapoa
Copiapoa is a captivating genus of slow-growing, often solitary cacti native to the arid regions of northern Chile. Characterized by their rounded, ribbed or cylindrical bodies, Copiapoa plants are well adapted to extreme dryness and often feature a fuzzy, woolly surface that helps conserve moisture. They produce subtle, usually yellow or brownish spines and may bloom with small, delicate yellow or white flowers. An interesting fact is that many species are highly prized by collectors for their distinctive appearance and rarity, making them a standout addition to any cactus collection.
